  • Slide outs makes ratcheting sound

Recently purchased a 2022 Reflection 150 Series 295rl and the slides make a racketing sound when they reach full open and full closed positions. Sounds like a chain slipping on a sprocket.
I traded a 2021 Imagine with Scwintech slides and they did not.
My question…is this normal for what I assume to be rack and pinion slide system or are the limit switches not set properly?

    Thanks!

Yes that is normal. The thru frame slide has a "slip" clutch on the motor that will make that noise if you hold the button in too long. I try to just catch it and stop after I first hear the ratchet sound, a couple clicks is ok. If you hold the button and allow it to click a lot you may damage this "clutch".

Schwintek slides or in wall slides will need to be held for syncing purposes, your model does not have these types of slides, just the thru frame slide.
