  • New renogy inverter charger issue.

Just purchased 2022 reflection 268bh. Had dealership instal Renogy 2000w inverter/charger with ats. Tested it on first day unplugged from shore power, nothing. No transfer over to battery. Called dealership they said inverter breakers need to be turned off and on when switching over from shore to battey. isn't that what the auto transfer switch is for? Please advise

According to the manual (if it's a PCL Series Renogy) at https://www.renogy.com/content/R-INV...S%20Manual.pdf

Which specific model Renogy is installed?

Judieb68 -- yep, according to Renogy's website that should have an automatic ATS. Time to call your dealer back armed with the manual's reference.

Thanks. My other issue is that my battery power is being reduced significantly while connected to shore power. Monitor shows steady green meaning not charging. The renogy I have is also a charger shouldn't there be increase in battery level?
