      No, didn't need to but could have. With all the rain we experienced I made sure the two extensions (where connected) were under the trailer and off the ground. Violent storms that went through the Birmingham area were only ~30 miles away. Sheesh! Good thing we drank lots of wine...didn't even really pay attention to the weather after awhile.
