Looking at options so we can take our kayaks with us. Last year we saw carriers like this. Contacted Yakups for weight and they replied within an hour. Our kayaks weigh 55 lbs each so I’m at 218 lbs. What do you guys think?

The rear receiver on GDRV's are typically rated for 300lbs, so you should be good.
An extra step/precaution to consider is getting a anti-rattle device to tighten the connection between the rack and receiver (if there's any movement between the two).
While different than what you're considering, the rack I put on the back of mine did just fine over the entire summer going from Florida to South Dakota to Jasper (Canada) and a wandering path all the way back. DOES THE RV KAYAK RACK WOBBLE IN THE WIND?
Our three section design when bolted together becomes one piece. There is included with every RV Kayak Rack, our patented clamping block that eliminates all play at the receiver tube connection.
Will the Rack fit my RV?
RV Kayak Rack shaft lengths are varied based on your order specs you provide. This allows for RV accessories such as ladders, spare tires, bumper styles, etc.
