    Ford 7.3 gas and 15k fiver

    Does anyone pull a Solitude or other heavy fiver with the new Ford 7.3 gas, Currelty, on our 4th diesel and tired of the expense and headaches. Plus I can get rid of the short box. Most folks that have them they all say god things, but I have not noticed anyone with a larger fiver commenting. Perhaps that is the telling part.

    Do you know your typical "ready to go camping" weight of your Solitude, including the pin weight? It would be an interesting exercise to compare the capability of your current diesel truck (which is?) to the published numbers of a the truck you're considering. (As with all things related to the tow vehicle, the closer to the actual curb weight the better. In other words, the trim level and options you'd get matter!)

    If you have numbers there are multiple forum members (engineering types) that enjoy crunching numbers!
