  • Roadmaster Active Suspension question

I recently installed a Roadmaster Active Suspension and it has raised by rear end 1.25". Since my Husky Centerline was set up prior to the Roadmaster install, would I have to redo the Centerline hitch set up? I added the Roadmaster to give me more suspension while towing.

I would say yes since you have modified your unloaded ride height. The Roadmaster will not raise your payload but should help to avoid bottoming the suspension. Hopefully you will provide some before/after details and post on the improvement to your towing experience.

My guess is that all you would need to do is raise the ball on the shank to the next set of holes. If it is anything like my Reese Straightline setup the tension and settings on the bars would not need to change just the ball height to make up the difference. This is all assuming that you are now nose low of course.

I readjusted my hitch after installing the Roadmaster. It raised my ball height to the next set of holes.

Thanks. I think I am going to start all over with my set up. I don't feel the RV dealer did a good job as the hitch makes a lot of noise and I practically have to raise the tongue really high to get the bars on and off.
