    Garage Tie Down Question

    Good Morning,
    I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered. I searched and could not find anything.
    I just took ownership of a new 2022 Momentum 31G toy hauler. My wife and I are excited to get started. I need to add additional tie downs in the garage. I want to place some of the E-Track rails on the floor. I'm concerned about how long a screw I should use to adequately secure it to the floor without causing damage to anything underneath the garage floor.
    Any input will be helpful.

    Under the floor is framework and, most importantly, a fuel tank. Below is a representation of the configuration (it's not exact) to give you an idea.

    What I'd do is drop the coroplast (the black material covering the bottom of the trailer) under the garage. Find locations that are clear both under the trailer and in the trailer in the area where the e-tracks are going to be installed. Following the e-track OEM guidance for installation, install the right hardware to ensure the tracks will hold their rated strength.

    I'm not sure what GD does with their tiedowns (if they are held with bolts or screws) nor their rated strength. Maybe a question for GD Customer Service.(if it's not in the manual--I didn't look).

      I agree with Howard. Also, watch out for the fresh and grey water tanks down there.
