I nominate I-10 from Dallas to Mississippi....horrible. we are planning a trip in November to see the kids in Texas and want to include a stop in Gulf shores but we do not want to take I-10 in at ALL. We may have to zig zag to Texas. Lol

Eleven99 I-10 does not run through Dallas. I-20 does and runs through Shreveport. Is this the one you mean? Or I-10 from San Antonio to Mobile, AL?

My bad...you are right. But I-10 from SA to Houston is another death trap. We have family in Spring, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. We were hoping to do a loop on this trip.
