Anna&Steve I don't believe I've seen any 15RB owners on the forum lately. But we do have some current and former 17MKE owners. Paul Paul & Deb currently have a 22MLE, but owned a 17MKE for a while. I know he's on the road for a while, but I tagged him in the hopes he'll see this and weigh in on his experience.

Many of the systems across GDRVs are common. Is there a particular system / feature / configuration issue of concern?

Just one point (of many) to ponder. The 15RB has a single axle. the 17MKE has a double axle. In the event of a tire failure, it's nice to have two tires on each side.

We have a 17MKE, but had a 15FLE for a very short time. I understand it's a different camper and layout, but in brief we liked that little bit of extra space the 17 offered.
The 15RB made an improvement by adding the Murphy bed instead of the dinette fold down to a couch. In the 15FLE I think the slide really helped make the most of the small space. The lack of a slide in the 15RB could be a pro and a con in that instance. As mentioned already the single axle is a potential con.
Also as mentioned, in terms of features, the 15 we had and the 17 we currently have are almost identical except for layout.

Just purchased a 2024 15RB with AIM package and very happy with our decision. We were deciding between a Surveyor 17RBLX and the 15RB won out pretty easily when we did our research. Ask away with any questions you may have.

I purchased my 2023 AIM 15RB in July. I did a lot of research prior to purchase and have been extremely pleased with the trailer so far.
Pros for me were the overall design and layout ot the trailer, the build quality, and the amount of storage space. I enjoy the queen-sized bed and appreciate the cubbies with power and usb as well as the reading lights. The kitchen works well for my needs with adequate counter space and the 2-burner stove meets my needs for the cooktop. I was pleasantly surprised by the convection microwave and have cooked many types of food in it. The refrigerator is 12v and has adequate storage space. It stays at around 34 degrees on high and the freezer stays around 2 degrees. The shower has enough space and height. It has a receiver on the back which I added a platform and dual fuel generator to. The off-brand LOGIX tv has a good picture and HDMI inputs. The heater will run you out of the trailer if you wish. I have so far been camping into the 20's and also use a small vornado to supplement the heat. I plan on doing additional insulation to the pipes and underbelly in the future, but no freezing problems down to these temps. I find the outside griddle to be a nice addition.

Cons for me were the original mattress although I first thought it was adequate, within one week of sleeping on it I added a 4in med density foam mattress on top of it. Originally the murphy bed could be closed very easily but now I have to lift the foam mattress up and tuck it in and then close it as before. The comfort is now perfect for me but it's not quite as easy to close up. The overall lighting is extremely bright which I first thought was a good thing, but it's too much most of the time. I have order individual lights that can be dimmed or shut off by touching each light and they have a blue night light in them to match the existing blue lights. I expect this to solve the problem and will update in a separate thread after install. The TV sound was beyond awful; however, I added a sound bar that mounted on the wall directly below it and am very pleased with it. The plastic toilet has an extremely cheap feel to it and you can't replace the seat with a normal better-quality seat. I am going to replace it with the dometic porcelain toilet in the future. The tankless water heater is great, however when off grid camping you waste a substantial amount of water for it to heat. It came with 200 watts of solar on the roof and the cheapest battery that could be installed. It was not sufficient for more than a day off grid. I have added a second 200-watt panel to the roof as well as added 2 200AH lipo batteries and moved them inside the front storage. So far it has stayed above 53 degrees, but I may need to add some type of additional heat in colder temps. I kept the original cheap solar controller and dedicated it to two 100-watt portable panels. I added a victron MPPT controller for the two roof panels. I changed the door lock to a keyless entry and like it much better, I also replaced all the exterior locks with better quality barrel locks.

I have also added a 2200-watt inverter with an auto transfer switch to prewired circuit in the front passthrough. I am adding a central vacuum to area where the shoe storage is, I seen this feature when researching the RPod's I have drilled out the kitchen and bathroom counters and added under sink soap dispensers as well as adding a hotel type shampoo dispenser in the shower. The roof top A/C is more than enough to cool the trailer; however, it is about as pleasant as sitting 2 feet away from a jet engine. I also added a magnetic knife holder to the wall behind the sink and a papertowl holder the underside of the kitchen counter.I have added a cheap furrion knockoff backup camera that was better than the intended furion unit. I added a levelmate pro and it makes set up a breeze. I have added mopeka pro LP sensors and am pleased with them. I added the TPMS sensors from tire linc and have not had any issues with them, it has function well without issue..

I would not hesitate to recommend this trailer to anyone that has thought out their true needs and find I will probably never finish upgrading and changing things to make it mine. I have certainly been doing my part to boost the economy since purchasing this to make it mine but for me that is part of the fun of ownership. I hope this information is helpful to someone and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
