My wife and I have been looking for our next toy hauler. When we go full time we will need something bigger. I think the Momentum 414M is new for 2024. We were looking at the 397 and the 395 but found the 414 to solve a lot of the issues with these other campers. What do the rest of you, toy hauler enthusiast, think of the new floor plan?

TribForce -- do you mean to write 414M? I can't find a "414G" on the GD website. There's a 415G and a 414M.

I'm assuming it's the 414M. At 46',4", that's a big unit. But you certainly have the tow vehicle for it. I do have a couple of concerns:
1. It's rated to sleep 9 people, but it only appears to have one bathroom.
2. Empty weight is 16,800#. GVWR is 20,000#. This leaves 3,200# for payload. I'm wondering if optional items such as the Happi-Jac, King Bed, etc. would reduce that even more. If you have some heavy toys, it might be pushing the GVWR numbers.

TucsonJim I have those same concerns with GVRW on this unit. I am assuming the unit can be ordered with 8K axles. I think this will raise the GVRW. Also, with nearly 4K on the truck in pin weight this is weight that does not get counted toward the GVRW right?Trib

Yes, the GVWR is all the weight on the trailer. This includes axles and pin weight.
If you're seriously considering purchasing, make sure you discuss the axle sizes and GVWR with GDRV.
