  • Plugging a hole in the skin

When I bought my 280RL, there was a GM camera installed, and when I removed it, I was left with an ugly hole. I found that this sink hole cover plug filled the hole and looked good, so I thought I would share.

If anyone has a slick way to remove adhesive backed zip tie mounts, I would appreciate it!

if you can get fishing string behind the mount it will saw through the double sided tape.

Then soak and keep soaked the foam in https://www.amazon.com/3M-General-Pu...s%2C417&sr=8-6 while using a cloth to wipe away both the foam and the glue behind it.

The other option once you "saw" off the foam with the fishing string is to use a https://www.amazon.com/Whizzy-Wheel-...lbWF0aWM&psc=1 to remove the foam and adhesive.

After removal of the adhesive, wax the area very well even if there is a bit of adhesive, the wax will help soften and remove small areas of adhesive.

I was fortunate. The after market camera cable was outside the rv. It’s prewired for a Furrion camera. I don’t get it. Could have just gone plug and play. 🤷‍♂️
Useful information. I have sticky zip tie spots that need cleaning up.
      Thank you 🙂

I use an adhesive and graphics remover called GraphXOff. I have used this product any times with tremendous success. You can purchase a 4oz bottle for about $7 plus shipping. It takes off ALL adhesives but leaves the clear coat unblemished. You can purchase it here:
