      First be prepared to re wax the front cap. Anything that effectively removes adhesive will most likely remove the wax.

      I like https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40070712/ look at wally mart, home depot or local auto parts / auto paint store. You can use acetone or lacquer thinner (be careful with lacquer thinner as it can loosen lower graphics if it spills on them).

      With either apply to cloth, press onto the surface, then wipe to remove. This is not a fast process.

          Wd 40 works on adhesive or also citrus product at automotive stores are excellent at removing adhesive. Be careful with them not to get on the unaffected areas as it may cause color change or other damages. I use a cloth and soak the area on cloth to apply to adhesive.
