  • 295 RL Step Upgrade?

Seeking advice. I am considering a step upgrade for the 295RL. Anyone here done the upgrade? If so what did you go with and why, please? Any issues since installing? Also, if anyone knows the ground to threshold height please reply with it.

I did a search here on the forum using the keyword "step" and found a few related threads.

I also looked for threads with "Torklift" in them:

    Hope that helps...

I did the search as well but for some reason I got zero returns. Yeah, none of these links were much help for the 295RL or as to why the were the choice. Thanks for giving it a shot.

We also have a 295RL and installed the Torklift Glow Steps. We had them on another trailer and loved them so it was a no brainer to put them on the new trailer also. We bought the 4 step model that Torklift recommended for our height. You will find that the steps are very solid and there is no "diving board" feel to them. Very easy to install because they use the same 4 bolt holes that hold on the origonal steps. Just remove the old steps and bolt on the new ones. Go to their web site for all of the information you need. Their phone support is also very good if you have any questions. You might price shop around as some places will discount them. Good luck.
