  • My solution to keeping the sliding barn door from breaking the screw

I found a number of good threads about the barn door on this forum (1, 2, 3, 4). Seems like GD fixed the device at the bottom (at least for my '22 2400BH). However, a single screw in track to prevent backward motion is stil there. I grabbed a couple things off amazon and wanted to share what worked flawlessly for us: https://www.amazon.com/Magnetic-Adhe...dp/B07Y4VVVMT/

I wanted something up higher and out of the way. Definitely off the floor. Somehow, by sheer luck, there's a "stud" right where this mounts on the door. I'll still use the bungie to hold it back and I dont think I need 2 of these as I didnt want it impossible to pull away from the magnets. But this gives quite a bit of peace of mind knowing that little screw at the top wont be relied upon to prevent backward motion.

    Hope this helps someone!
