2020 GD Reflection 20BH Fifth Wheel
During recent camping trip, main slide would not go out (frequent issues with slideout and in another post) so we were forced to camp in cramped space. Since we couldn't utilize the bunkhouse, our guest (1) had to sleep on dinette bed. Woke up first night at 2 AM to guest falling on the floor. The cheap pressboard on benches supporting the table top broke (figs 1 & 2).
Ended up replacing with solid pine and anchoring with wood screws vs the cheap staples (Figs 3 & 4). Found darkest stain available at Home Depot and matched up pretty well (Fig 5). Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but I'd think twice having guests sleep there until you modify it. I expected better quality from GD.
