Luan behind control centre

I'm looking to add a button to the control centre where the slide buttons etc are located. Behind the panel, in the cupboard is a piece of luan plywood apparently attached by stapling. Have people removed this without damaging it?
I'm talking about removing the plywood with the sticker on it to access the rear of the control centre.

I have removed that panel. At the back there is a strip with a couple screws, remove those screws and gently work the panel out by pushing from the button panel hole that you have when you removed the button panel. You can pull some of the staples if you want. When I reinstalled I used the 2 screws in the back and added a couple shorter ones out front by the door. I think there are pictures in my solar install maybe.
