Roll Over Sofa Missing Stop Bolt

If you have a Momentum, Imagine XLS 17MKE, 19BWE, 21BHE, 24MPR or a Transcend 247BH that was built between 7/1/19 and 9/1/19 the Roll Over Couch may be missing a stop bolt. If the stop bolt is not in place, the back rest portion can tip below "level" when converted into a bed.



The fix is simple--install an 8mm-1.25 x 12 8.8HCS Z bolt (2 each) with M8-1.25 DIN985 locking nuts. The Grand Design part numbers are 882305 and 682306, respectfully.

Below are pictures showing where the bolt may be missing and what it looks like with the bolt (and nut) installed.

The sofa will convert to a bed? I looked at ours and do not see how this is possible. Ours is 2 recliners and a fold down center piece.

The current 17MKE does not have that feature.



Like everything in the RV industry, things change fast. I've personally inspected other 2019 315RLTS (that were manufactured later in the model year) that have significant differences from my 2019 315RLTS. Even the air conditioners are different! I almost bought a 315RLTS from a local dealer (they backed out...long story) that had Dometic air conditioners. The camper I bought (sight unseen) from Campers Inn in Byron, GA had Colemans. (I got lucky.)

Bottom line: what was may not be what is.
