Slide Window Issue

The window in my living room slide got to hot maybe in the sun and when I tried to raise it up the aluminum handle separated from the glass and the glass fell back down.
What would be a good adhesive to glue the glass back to the aluminum latch bar ?

My "go to" adhesive in these types of situations is a clear two part epoxy. My favorite is JB Weld Clearweld. Here's a link:
