Furrion 12v 10cf refrigerator: freezer has a bleach smell; why?

2023 GD Imagine 2600RB. Furrion 12v 10cf refrigerator's freezer has a distinct bleach/chlorine smell when opened. (no...I didn't use bleach to clean it). Is this something to be concerned about? Is it usual?

We're living in the trailer as our house is being built; therefore, not able to bring it to a dealer to have it examined.

This is the first I've heard of this odor. Are the refrigerator and freezer sections maintaining temperature? If so, I wouldn't think you're fine. If the freon were to leak out of the unit, it would quickly stop functioning. I'd place an open box of baking soda in both sections to absorb any odors, and keep an eye on the temperatures.
