What problems when switching your absorption style refrigerator to a residential

    We switched from the Norcold 2118 to an LG 22 cuft residential several years ago. Best decision ever. The Norcold was a power pig! I calculated that it was using about 7500 KW hrs annually. The LG by comparison is about 500 KW hrs annually.
    When running it uses about 150 Watts.
    On the attached graph, the blue line is mostly the fridge. The orange one is mostly the hot water heater.

    We boondock a lot and our system handles it with no problems at all.
