As mentioned, run the wire for a 50A service with either a 30A or 50A breaker leaving one of the hot legs off the breaker for safety and hook it up. I'd probably just go ahead and run the 50A plug and get one of the short 50 to 30 adapters or 50 to twin 30 adapters thus providing a power outlet should you need to run something like a welder.

More expensive up front, but having that 50A double 30 splitter opens you up in campgrounds that have low power on one leg of the system. Someone here has a 30A unit and has ran the camper off the splitter to get clean power from the other leg in the pedestal b/c the 30 was browning out.

Joseph. I already have one of those 50A to twin 30A adapters and have used it. Each 30 plug is powered off a different leg so with my Progressive EMS I can see which is better.

However I was wanting the plug covered by the enclosure, otherwise the snow and rain can get into the connection. Right now I run it under the garage door and use a short extension cord withe an adapter.
