I was behind my main monitor/control panel, the one where you control slides and monitor tank levels, to replace some on/off switches with dimmer switches. I discovered a very informative legend on the back of the monitor sub-panel:
Well that's useful, right? So I began to verify each color and what the monitor-panel wire hooked up to. Low and behold, the Orange wire for Gray Tank 2 was not hooked up to anything at all. Just a loose, unattached Orange wire.
So I investigated monitor-panel Gray wire which monitors Gray Tank 1. It *was* hooked up to a Green wire that was coming up from the underbelly.
Right beside that Green wire was a dangling, unattached Blue wire. Hmm. Was this the divorced couple? What the hay. I hooked monitor-panel Orange to dangling Blue:
Well, nothing blue/blew up, but I'm not yet sure if anything is being sensed from Gray Tank 2.
This post is a request for feedback on what others' monitor-panel Orange wire is connected to behind the monitor panel.
Thanks.
