I had this same issue come up. I would add one suggestion to ATCRicks comments, which were very helpful. I used “U” shaped nails to seat the wires just below the carpet level. This worked well and I no longer have any problems with the wires/connectors being ripped apart when the bedroom slide closes and opens. Gary,
