  • Momentum 397 TH Living room slide no pwer

My 2017 MOMEMTUM MT397TH,VIN:573FM4531H1203728 living room slide has no power all sudden. Checked the wiring harness under slide and no evidence of damage. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or had the same issue.
    thanks

    120vAC, 12vDC or both?

Jim - did you have the molex recall done. If it is the AC power that junction block could be the issue. Is just inside the frame above to belly fabric where the cable that goes to the slide goes through.

        Hope this helps

You can find a generic copy of the recall letter here: https://www.granddesignrv.com/sites/...l%20Letter.pdf

The issue is the molex connector (picture below) that transitions from the hard wiring (typical household type) to the flexible required due to the slide movement. All the details are in the PDF.

If the generic plan I have is correct the outlet in your slide is on the "General Recepts" circuit breaker. The breaker protects about 8 outlets, scattered throughout the coach. Looks like three in the bedroom, three in the living room, and maybe two just inside the garage.

Due to the increased risk of a fire (as documented in the recall) you may want to turn off that "General Recepts" breaker until the problem can be remedied by a qualified RV technician.

GD's Customer Service number is on a "business card" on this forum's home page. They may be closed on Monday (holiday?), but try anyway.
