    Smart Shunt Mounting

    Hello,

    Hoping anyone had mounted a smartshunt on the outside of your rv, possibly on the frame

    Any gotchas I should look out for?

    glennco -- I can't recall seeing anything like you've requested. I "stole" TucsonJim's install and mounted the shunt for the BMV-712 I have in a plastic shelter. (Not waterproof, but it's protected in the passthru from being inadvertently damaged.)

      Mine is mounted on the frame right behind the A-frame on my travel trailer. It's been there for a few years now and is still in good shape.
