First heater run

We haven't needed heat yet here in Texas. We fired it up this AM for the first time and let it run a little while. I'm honestly going to use a small electric heater (safety tip switch) if not really cold. Got the new smell to go away and then the smoke alarm quit after that. Worked well.

Lots of folks use small space heaters in their rigs when it's not too cold. The safety tip switch is a good precaution.

One thing to remember. Your Transcend Xplor is equipped with a heated and enclosed underbelly. If you get temperatures that are low enough for a hard freeze, you can help keep your plumbing from freezing by running the furnace. Some of the furnace heat is ducted to the underbelly. The warmth from a space heater will not reach these areas.
