Can a 2nd AC be installed bunk room 278bh

Wondering if it’s possible to install the 2nd AC in the bunk room?

Main reason for doing so would be to keep the rig as low profile as possible instead of having that 2nd AC above the bedroom

If it would connect to the AC track ducts, also keeps the noise in the back of the rig.

Anyone know if this is possible?

I do not believe that the rear vent is prewired or connected to the AC duct. You would have to at least get 120 v ac power to the vent and you could use a non ducted AC. To see if it is prewired you can remove the inner trim ring on the vent and there should be wires or a label.

wambachstoday In our 28bh there was no AC pre-wiring in the bunkroom, and the ducts were not cut out for a AC unit. It needs a dedicated circuit, so you would need to not just find 120V up there, you would need to run a dedicated line back to the panel. Not impossible, but a big job. We find with the unit in the bedroom, we run both during the heat of the day, and in the evenings run the living room and during the day (if not super hot) run the bedroom. This keeps the noise where we are not using the rig. When its really hot, or we are getting into bed after a long drive day we are glad to have it in the bedroom for quick cooling of the sleep space.
