Hot water flow reduced to small stream at all spickets in 2019 Reflection 337RLS

The stream for hot water only would reduce to small stream, then when you shut it off, the pressure would build and it would run fine for a bit, then reduce to a dribble again.

The back flow check valve (located on the outlet side of hot water heater – behind water heater ) was plugged up with some kind of plastic. Had to open the belly from the front storage area to get at it.

billhansen -- unfortunately a common failure. Many of us replace the plastic backflow check valve with a brass version.
