How do I get hot water I only get luke warm water whether I’m using electric or propane?

Is your hot water tank in partial bypass for storage? Brief hot water followed by warm/cool water is a symptom of the system having all three valves open.

If you let us know what Grand Design product and year you have it would help us help you.
If you have the nautilus panel the outside spray port may have the valves open causing the hot water and cold water to mix.

As Brian stated, check your outside faucets, and check your shower faucets too. If they were not completely turned off, the hot and cold will mix.
