  • New Member - Is There a Leak?

We just picked up up our 2610ML yesterday and most of the PDI was fine. However this morning there was a pool of water on the ground under our unit coming down from the kitchen gray tank. I have attached a few pictures, do you believe this serious enough to go back to the dealer ans loose 4 to 6 weeks to wait for correction?

A leak is usually something that should be corrected as soon as possible on a camper. I can't quite determine from the pictures, though, the point of origin of the leak. How do you know it is from a gray tank?

Do you want to pursue this yourself (welcome to RV ownership!), have the dealer look at it, or have a mobile technician take a look (with some out-of-pocket expense).

    1) If you just bought it yesterday, I sure hope the dealer will take a look at it immediately. Give them a call and chance to make it right.

    2) If you're a DIY type, we have a few members here who are quite good at troubleshooting plumbing issues. One has even recently replaced an entire tank!

    3) If you don't want to take it back to the dealer for potentially a long wait, and you're not a DIY'er, if you call Grand Design then may authorize a mobile technician to look at the issue. You will pay the "service fee" (cost to get them to come to you) but Grand Design will cover parts and labor.

Finally, when you get a moment please check out the Welcome Letter to New Members at https://gdrvowners.com/forum/main-fo...to-new-members

And check back with the resolution to the leak.

Marmic -- in the second picture....if that's road salt I see on the frame, you'll want to get that cleaned up ASAP.
