Replace Cold Only Spray Port with a Hot & Cold Spray-Port

Has anyone replaced the cold only Spray-Port with a Hot & Cold Spray-Port? (Why, you ask? Cause my daughter want's warm water when I wash her feet )

The rear spray port on my unit is right next to the hot water heater, so accessing hot water should not be an issue, and there appears to be plenty of space.

Using the Grand Design parts lookup for the spray port hose:

Staying with the same manufacturer, so I can ensure the existing spray port in the front of the camper can use the same hose, I found this (It also comes in black, but they only have a picture of the white one):

The rough cut hole is 5 1/2".


So has anyone tried this before?

For you REALLY adventurous people, you could also replace the front spray port with this (Note, I'm not going to do this, just came on on the product page):

mpking Wow that looks awesome. I’ve always wanted mine to be hot, I use it for outside dishes and cleaning cast iron, this would be great. I’ll have to look into this when I get home.

Great!! Now another dragon to add to the list, but I think I may place the head in the pass thru up high above the disconnected vacuum unit. Or maybe, just remove the vacuum and replace it with the controls.
