FWIW I just looked at my plumbing. No hepvo valve. The bathroom sink has its own connection to tank. The shower with p-trap and kitchen sink are t'd to another connection to tank. The tank vent is t'd to the shower drain pipe. I do have 2 grey tanks. One must handle galley and shower and is vented.

One then handles bathroom sink; this tank has no apparent vent. That doesn't seem right. I'll look some more.

Galley and Shower into one tank and Bathroom Vanity into a tank all by itself is curious combination. This does explain the "disconnect" with your vanity backing up separately from the shower. Do you have a clothes washer also draining into the vanity grey tank? Otherwise, it should take weeks for just a vanity basin to fill a grey tank, all by itself.

This is taking the thread sideways. Enough about my system. But thanks for your response.

Just wanted to provide an update. The problem has been fixed and both sinks are now draining. The problem was a kink/pinch drainage hose beneath the cabinets, which we had replaced. It appears that the hose was too long and with the sliding in and out of the slide ou it became pinch and therefore not letting the water drain. NEW PROBLEM, black tank tank cable/valve is locked in an open position so I’m not sure if the issue is the cable or the valve. Does grand design use the lasalle Bristol valve? Is the length I need is 48”. My solitude is a 2019 372wb-r . Any help would be appreciated or videos to watch.

Might be the LaSalle--can usually tell by the handle. If you look at this thread the last picture in the series has an original handle all the way to the right. https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...s-easy-to-make

Not sure about the length--might have to crack open the coroplast (underbelly) and take a look to ensure you're ordering the right length. Don't be surprised if the cable is not routed correctly (too many bends). Many of us have found that to be the case. This thread may provide info to help: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...e-dump-handles
