    I have a 2017 SuperDuty and if you use the controller, it will lock the trailer brakes even when not moving. I use a quick "pull" test by locking trailer brakes and giving it a gentle tug before hitting the road. I guess it's a remnant of driving a tractor-trailer for over a decade.

      Ditto with my 2019 F-350.
