  • 2022 378MBS - Step-by-step instructions for repacking bearings

    Friends,

I am looking for step-by-step instruction on how to repack my bearings on my 2022 378MBS running the 8k axles with the electric-over-hydralic disc brakes. Any assistance or recourse material would be most appreciated.
    Very Respectfully,

Bearings are an oft-discussed topic on this forum. If you'd like to skim through previously documented questions and answers, use your browser's search engine (Google or DuckDuckGo, etc) and enter

    bearings site:gdrvowners.com

The list of hits will be quite long--a lot to read!

YouTube is another resource that has a lot of material. Most videos that I've seen tend to have the drum brakes vs the disc so that will be different.

Finally, Dexter has service manuals located here: https://www.dexteraxle.com/Resources...enter/?type=70

If there's a specific question many of the regulars here are exceptionally knowledgeable on this topic. (I'm not one of them!)

The thread wonders all over the place, but if you care to read my "lessons learned" it's well documented here: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...-along-the-way

Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, we have nothing to gain should you choose to purchase a product or engage a service we discuss on this forum.
