Everything has a good compartment to hold everything, The charging cable is a standard USB that will fit the trailer plugs or with an adapter with my laptop.

Kit comes with a hook adapter and a magnet end.

I did a bit of testing around the house and found it works well, The cable can be bent and hold position and should be able to go around bends, It does have a second lens on the side of the probe to see to the side. It has a good focal length. the LED lights on the camera end have 3 power setting including off. Display is very sharp to and can be adjusted for brightness. It also comes with a 32Gig memory card to record things. I need to read more on all of its uses and functions, but happy so far.

Overall I think this will work well for me and no phone to mess with or possible data or security issues

    Update
I ordered this https://depstech.com/collections/new...h-screen-ds580 I sent an email about comparing units and the sent a 10% off coupon. No tax and free shipping

Why - I dd not want a probe having access to my phone, the probe is top rated and the cable stiffer than most so you can direct it around a bend. It's water proof and comes with a solid case along with a hook attachment and magnet. Long battery life too, so hopefully it will hold a charge when not in use. Ill post later once it arrives. Ordered today and I got an email already it has shipped.

I think I have a previous generation of what you linked: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYTI2HV

I'll be honest, it's been fine, but not great. It requires a confined path to follow or it goes all over and makes it impossible to determine up from down and left from right. I've typically used it with an iPad so I can reasonably see the display.

For short distances, it works best. I typically use it to poke through a small hole somewhere and just examine what's inside.

When you get it all figured out can you let me know? I had not thought of the need for a case, but good point as I would loose it otherwise. Thanks for putting this all on one thread.

LOL - it doesn't. I got side tracked on another thread on a black tank plug and when folks wanted me to get the instrument modual posted above (The Spend Yoda's money quest you all have) I just mention I was shopping for the endoscope - it went sideways form there. But it could be used to inspect inside the axle tube and I believe someone mentioned using it to look inside the brake drum to check on brake wear without pulling the hub - also check for grease contamination.

Lots of uses - including belly inspection for leaks.

No worries Jim - all in fun My reply was meant as humor - sorry. I have a long history of those scopes - just the ones Doctors use

On edit - I would like to know what you have after reading the reviews on the Dipstech and the security issues.
