We have all be there searching for parts and trying to get the best deals. So I thought a thread on GOOD parts folks that should get our business.
I have 5 to start - oops 7 - oops 8 and I know I am forgetting a few.
https://www.continuousresources.com/ These are the folks that haven given me the best deal on Victron and other parts. Excellent customer service email and phone.They match prices and try MORRIS5 at checkout for 5% off. They gave me the same 15% discount that invertersrus.com offered with free shipping and no sales tax, Victron distributer and installer per Victron web page. Pretty much next day response to email.
https://temcoindustrial.com/ Another good customer service and a very wide selection of wire and battery terminals. Lots to choose form - they may or may not have the best price.but good to work with. I got my battery lug crimper from them before the price increase.
https://www.delcity.net/ wide selection of crimp terminals and lots of other stuff. Fast shipping
https://www.windynation.com/ They have an Amazon page. Great prices on cabling and PV cable either on this site or Amazon
https://invertersrus.com/ These folks have good pricing - customer advice is iffy at times. They will offer 15% off on Victron if you ask. Say your and IRV2 member. Run some free give sways at times. Emails can take several days for response.
https://amsolar.com/ these folks are good. Not big on discounts (my experience) Excellent advise and a wealth of information on their web site. Customer service is compartmentalized so be sure if you email your asking the right department or email response may be delayed. I had trouble getting a quote because I emailed the wrong person who sent me to someone else.
https://www.westmarine.com/ If you need epoxy or Marine wiring check there folks out. They carry West System Epoxy - some of the best I have used. The also have an Amazon side, but sometimes I find this sits has better pricing.
https://shop.pkys.com/ Now for a strange one - some venders use these folks to fulfill and ship their orders, but they do have good pricing and fast shipping so check them out. They carry a lot of stuff.
Now Amazon has a lot of stuff and easy ordering. Pay attention to shipping. and stock on hand. They do not always have the best price. Find what you looking for then Google the model number and see who has it for a better price. also a warning - if you buy form them double check if they are authorized - some folks have had issues with warrenty and customer service. Better to pay a few dollars more for an authorized dealer - and verify that.
Bottom line. First be sure what you ordering is what you need. I am guilty of not checking what is best. This site has folks with a wealth of information, so pay attention. Second if the price is too good it is probably a scam. Verify the web site your buying from.
