Very smart to try and figure this out before buying an RV! Back in 2017 I was a complete "newb" to trucks and all the terminology around their capabilities, so a mistake (expensive!) was made that led to me being in the "Two Timer Truck Club". In other words, I had to go trade in a brand new truck to get one that had the capability to tow and haul what my DW and I wanted.

With that preamble, a couple of helpful threads that will hopefully go a long way to allow you to answer your own question. Being able to answer the question, "Can my truck tow this trailer?" yourself is vital IMO. Most salesman, truck or RV, will fudge their answer to try and sell you something so caveat emptor!

The only true way to know is by looking at the yellow sticker in the driver door.

MFG rated tongue weights are DRY as MFG not real world. Take the max weight of the trailer and use 15% as your tongue weight number and you will be much closer to reality.

These are my takes based on reading post on this forum for the past 2 years. Luckily we had a truck just large enough when we moved from the TT to the first 5er.

There are also other factors to consider when specing a truck/trailer combo. These numbers dont take into account the profile and size of the trailer. The frontal area and the overall area of the side of the trailer in crosswinds are things to consider. This is where having a little extra truck and the right hitch setup correctly will pay dividends.
The length and profile of a trailer can create a "tail wagging the dog" scenario in crosswinds. Tire type and the trucks wheelbase are considerations here.
At first glance and without diving deeply into the specs I would say that the trailer you mentioned could be comfortably towed with the Colorado crew cab. The 2.7L in the mid HP configuration is certainly up to the task.

I'm another who bought a trailer that was more than what our tow vehicle could safely tow. Like Howard, we traded in our tow vehicle for another that could safely handle the trailer. Much easier to get the right pairing before the purchase.
