  • If you own a Trailer Valet, you need this $10 part

I have used the Trailer Valet for 6 seasons. I really like it for spotting my trailer perfectly on my pad from the driveway. The truck cannot access the pad. I purchased the unit when I had a 6K trailer with a 600 lbs tongue weight. I upgraded to a 297RSTS this season and the trailer valet struggled greatly, swaying forward and aft as I moved the trailer around. Because I was near the weight limits, I thought I was going to have to buy something beefier. I called Trailer Valet, and they suggested I try this newly designed plate. This $10 piece did the trick. The valet is sturdy, strong and true with no movement. The best $10 bucks I could have spent and I'm grateful to the folks at Trailer Valet for suggesting it.

Dang I wish I had one of those for parking my 297 on the side of the house. It usually takes me 3-4 attempts to squeeze it between the fireplace and the trees.
