  • Turning point hitch

So my 2020 GD Reflection turning point hitch finally locked up so I was forced to disassemble with really any proper directions.

actually went pretty smooth with just a few you tube videos as guidance. So my question is the proper torque setting for the 8 bolts holding it in place.. I know this is a Lippert product but can find any information.

    I’ve seen it at 125, 150, & 200 lbs. anyone have a correct amount?

    thanks, Jerry

See Maintenance Instruction 2 and 6 in the attached owner's manual link:

    https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws...cd-0001724.pdf

Summary: 200 ft-lb for wedge bolts. 175 ft-lb for wing to hitch bolts, and 50 ft-lb for bearings.

Thanks so much for the info and the link to the owners manual. Just went through all paperwork I got from dealer when we purchased the new 5th wheel. Amazing that I did not get a owners manual for this component…. Also amazing when i emailed lippert a few months ago they didn’t refer me to their manual.

appreciate you taking the time to send me the link.

You're welcome Jnick. LCI has some great documentation, but sometimes it's a bear to find on-line.
