Have you tried hitching the TV to the Unit, Lifting the landing gear until they are free, then Un-hitching the TV and when you see the space between the GB and the bed start to increase (this would also be about when the TV stops moving vertically), then lowering again? One other trick I have found is to move the combination forward and rearward a few feet to relax the suspension. Install wheel chocks on the trailer and set the parking brake on the TV.
Yes and yes. If I lift the landing gear to re-seat the ball, the truck will move with or without emergency brake on - happens every time I unhitch or hitch at any site. Sometimes the truck will move forward, sometimes back. This happens in normal driving with nothing in tow every time I park. For instance backing into garage I have very little room due to the length so I try to get the truck an inch away from the wall in the back. Sometimes it will move forward and sometimes back when I put it in park and take foot off the brake and that is with the E-brake on and relatively level garage floor. Every time I put it in park, DW has to tell me - nope pull forward or back an inch as the ball isn't centered any longer to drop the coach.

So when looking in your mirrors you will see more movement side to side than with a typical king pin std hitch.. Its the nature of the beast. As for you wrinkles I have a few on my unit, both inside and out. I believe they are normal movement of the material as they expand and contract due to temperature and movement. Our units are designed to flex to some extent.

      Hope this helps

Thanks Keith. The movement I see is in my rearview mirror not the side mirrors just to confirm. But good to hear that someone else has wrinkles. If it weren't for the other items, I'd be less concerned. This may all be OBE and nothing is wrong but the concern has been there since our first trip when all the filon trim screws snapped on door side and filon was flapping in the breeze. That set the tone for me to glance in rearview mirror a bit more than I would have in tow.

With the e-brake applied the truck should not move (or at least none of mine do with properly adjusted brakes). Might be worth having a friend help you by rocking the truck while you look under with the e-brake applied to see if you can figure out where the movement is coming from. The only other thing I can think to try and keep the truck from moving is to chock those wheels also. I do carry 2 sets of chocks and chock both sides of my trailer plus I have a spare set if I need them for the truck.

x2 on Jlawles2 Joseph's comment. If your truck is moving with the emergency (E) brake applied, that is something that needs to be serviced. The small movement after putting the truck in Park and releasing the main brake pedal is normal.
