Well. That post is for a different tongue jack. The Lippert, I think. The jack on my 2021 Reflection is a Stromberg Carlson which has a different design. Since I made the original post/question, I called the factory. They told me that it is NOT possible to rotate the motor head but I can rotate the whole jack. Well. It’s mounted with 3 bolts and rotation of 120 degrees in any direction will interfere with the propane tank cover. I would like, of course, to rotate it 90 degrees. I think I’m looking at the need for some kind of adapter plate.

Would it be possible to rotate and drill new mounting holes where you need them?

Yes, probably. A great suggestion which I should have thought of. Perhaps just drill 3 new holes. I’ll have a look and report my findings.

FlyStar did you pull the head off? I know in the vastness of endless youtube wandering, I ran across a video where someone had to drill and tap 2 holes in the metal tube to rotate the head.

Just an option for those who do not wish to drill out the base plate.

No. For this Stromberg Carlson unit, there is no “pulling the head off”. That seems to be the way to go with the Lippert jack, but not this one
