I have about 2k miles on my Gen Y now and really like it. I absolutely noticed the ride smooth out after a "break in" period; they advertise roughly 1k miles but we noticed it getting much smoother after about 600.
I installed it myself (with the help of my wife and ncitro) and it went pretty well. Take your time and good luck. Definitely check the torque on bolts after about 100 miles of towing.

I am curious as in my measurements from the web page information it would not work for me,

Jlawles2 thanks. I only have experience with loaded bumper pulls, so I know payload works a little differently. It will be just the wife and I, and I don’t imagine coming close to the 10995 of the 295rl with what we will load. But, figuring out how to load will certainly help, so thanks for that. Learn as we go I suppose.

LeonM the hitch weight shown is as it cools off the assembly line (from what I understand). I tow a 303 with a 2500 Denali and an auto slider. Technically I am over gross on the truck, but under axle weight on the rear fully dressed ready to roll.
If you stick with the recommended 20%-25% hitch weight you are looking at 20% of 10,995lbs = 2,199 lbs vs 20% of 11,995 lbs 2399 lbs, and at 25% 10,995lbs = 2,625 lbs vs 2,999 lbs.
Until you get a unit, load it, and weight it you will not be certain of pin weight. If pin weight is too much, you learn how to pack a bit differenlty. I.E. move things to the back beside the sofa from the front as this is a double plus on reducing pin weight.

Thanks Rob. The 303rls is our favorite floor plan due to camp side seating slide. The 295rl is the same floor plan, minus the bedroom slide, which is not horrible. Plus with 295 saves about 400# pin weight it looks like.

I don't thing Reese makes a goose box for the turning point (unless new to the market) and the Gen Y is not height adjustable (except for the ball shank you use and shortens the reach, so measure carefully. I believe I posted on the measurements here somewhere when I looked at that option. There may be an issue with the tailgate clearance hooking up at and angle from what I remember. Us the search feature here - lots of information on the Gen Y and Reese goose box Also double check you cargo capacity on your truck as even the models you mention can get up on the pin weight when loaded. I know the basic filth wheel hitch for you truck can get heavy due to Rams wide stance on the pucks, but I have a B&W OEM Companion and love it, Its Alaska proof.

As for your exact setup, that may be a bit harder to find. There are a lot of various setups here. Be patient as it may take a bit for an owner to chime in that has the exact setup.
Note the short tabs sticking down here for the turning point. https://gdrvowners.com/towing-and-hi...ng-maintenance
