    familytruckster4 Have you ever had to spend a day or two on the side of an interstate because of snow? How far south do you have to get before snow is not normally a concern?

    We typically stop around Bowling green KY on the way down but depending on the weather that year its possible it will be below freezing. We carry gallon jugs of water for flushing and cleanup so we can leave the water lines winterized. We have had to wait overnight before but the roads are usually cleared quickly. There have been years where the first half of the trip was on snowy roads, There isnt a lot that stops us. If theres something really big coming weather wise we will adjust our departure a few days.
