Well the chaos is overor is it? - what did you score? I had a big list - was a tough go though (more that usual) . Lots of false starts with a lot of shady pricing and advertising. I really needed some good pricing to get my new TV set up. Its to the point the Guberment needs to take a hard look. I am for free enterprise (hate Guberment involvement) , but some of the S## I ran into needs to be put in check (worst I have seen in many years). Well enough for my political statement - BTW what the best internet site checker? To see if a site is legit and reviews?

Me, I think I did OK. Some deals I found Renogy 60a DC-DC charger, Retrax Pro bed cover (top priority) , BedRug impact mat (#2 priority), MicroAir 364 (No blue tooth) As I have the battery monitor I can us it to check the status, 2awg wire.

Why you ask- getting the new to come F350 equipped, and my DC-DC project supplies. I plan to keep my Reflection 220RK for a long while.

Also scored on an exact match to DW 80's vintage Oneda flat where set - she wanted ****tail/seafood forks. I was able to match our 80's vintage Oneida set exactly. I think the Good Lord upstairs helped in that - just happen to stumble across it, It will go a long way in the SWMBO universe She thinks I have a generic boring set coming

What did I miss - new B&W hitch , misc hardware of the DC-DC project, Fridge wireless temp sensor's. AcuRite reviews too mixed to decide. and finding DW books, cloths and music (out of stock) Its probably in a Zerkon off the coast. Need to keep an eye out.

All in All it was a long good day. Except for one thing - I busted the Bank ....... not really - came out under budget - something new for a change.

I will admit shopping this year was very interesting. Lets say there was a big pucker factor and scam factor. A whole lot of bait and switch out there. Lots of counter fit items. I learned to check with BBB and also to see if the web site was legit. Some interesting results. I made sure to use Discover, in case any gremlins show up. They have been very good in the past of getting me refunds on bogus buys in the past. Been with them a very long time. And the best part is racking up rewards. Lets just say over the year we racked up a few points - came in handy. One thing I made sure of is to call the site - if they answered and helped with the sale (no pressure - just the facts) I felt OK to deal with them.

PCmatic does a nice job of monitoring sites and certificates. My elderly parents are flogged daily by scammers on the phone and that special phone registration does nothing to help.

I did and have been waiting and calling. I was told today that they are waiting on parts for the kit, I am guessing that the rubber spring part is made here but the rest is bought from somewhere over the rainbow. I can not imagine them taking this long to complete an order. I placed my order on 11-28

Yes I did order them. About December 30th I think. Have not shipped yet. But to be fair, I was not expecting them to be shipped until about the end of January. When I ordered they were backordered.

If it will make you fee any better I ordered a Bed rug impact mat before Black Friday an it is still back ordered. Maybe it might get here mid March in time for my truck to arrive. My Retrax bed cover is still in the middle of the living room where Santa left it, Sorry Rob I cant help but laugh of your needing to come south to get things ordered and stay warm. But I will tell you once installed you will love them. You could drop by one of thier places on your way south .
