Black Sealant Used on Underbelly

Hi,

I want to drop my underbelly on my Imagine 22RBE to do a general inspection. Can anyone tell me what type of sealant is used around all of the fittings? It is basically just a black spray foam, but I want to get the correct sealant.

Also, does anyone know where I can get the sealant chart for the Imagines?

The factory uses a black foam sealant around underbelly openings. You could contact Grand Design Customer Service for more information on this material. I have used black acrylic caulking in the small gaps. Tougher (and better looking in my opinion) than the foam, but still removable for the next time. I would not use anything containing silicone because silicone leaves a film that nothing will stick to in the future.

SpaceX I usually use the Great Stuff pond and stone, its black and meant for wet places, and available at home centers here - so its what I go with.
