We just purchased a 2022 Reflection 303RLS Fifth wheel and love it so far! We are interested in doing some mods and upgrades similar to what we did in our first RV (a non-Grand Design travel trailer). New to us is our 370W Solar Panel Upgrade but don’t know how or where to proceed to complete it for Off-grid RV’ing. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

Welcome here When you get a chance take a read of our welcome letterhttps://gdrvowners.com/forum/main-forum/28804-welcome-letter-to-new-members and fill in your signature block. It is also good to add you vin to your profile so GD can help if needed. Unlike the other place Grand Design keeps up with the goings on here and out wonderful moderators can reach out to them if needed. Or moderators also have access to unit drawings. They are a fantastic bunch.

As for Solar there is an extensive Solar section here. Use the search feature and I am sure you will have lots of projects to look at. Howard howson has also put together an extensive modifications list https://gdrvowners.com/modifications...ification-list He is our resident Professor of Knowledge along with may others here..

Hope this helps and safe travels

Welcome Brenda. Hit us up with your questions and we'll all be glad to jump in and help. Solar can be quite challenging, but many of us here have done the research and can help you get the system you want and need. Check out the solar tutorial that we created as presentation material at rallies.

Brenda, we also have a 303. Love the trailer.
Interesting that Gran Design installed a 370w solar panel. Would you happen to know the solar change controller rating and the wire size from the panel. If you have trouble determining the answers, you could call Grand Design Customer Service and if you provide them with your VIN it will only take them a minute to relay the info to you.
These two items will get you started on your solar design.
If you'd like, feel free to private message me and I'll help you get started.
