2024 Solitude 310GK Drawer Conversion

Our Solitude is prepped to install a dishwasher at the end of the island if desired. We've had a dishwasher since we got married 48 years ago, so there is no need to add another one...

As part of the dishwasher prep, GDRV puts a flip down drawer front with a small plastic storage bin on the island. But this is a lot of wasted space. So I removed the drawer front and incorporated it into a new drawer we can use for additional storage. This is much more functional than that little plastic bin.

We have that at home (two) and use them all the time for brushes and scrubbers. Took me three trips to realize we had one and haven't used the bin yet. I like your mod - drawer on the other side of sink is too narrow and we keep losing flatware down into the belly of the beast.

Did you purchase that drawer from GD or is it custom? Would definitely like to copy this mod.
