  • Convenience center switch addition

Hi. I am looking to add a SPST switch to one of the large blank knockouts on my convenience center for an accessory I want to be able to switch on and off. My aim is to match as close as possible to the appearance of the slider switches. Does any one have any suggestions on where or what type of switch I can purchase to match the appearance of the slider and awing toggle switches?

The Grand Design part lookup tool does not provide much detail about the existing switches (PN 450011).

    Thanks

Usually manufacturer info is molded into the body. You can probably pop one out and read it.

Camperjake Would be nice to have a model and floor plan so we can look up the switches you are talking about. Also any details on the existing switch (GD description on some stuff is better than others) may help locate one.

I am guessing you are trying to find a SPST latch switch to match the DPDT momentary slider switches.

I bought one of these to match the other switches not in the panel https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You might end up taking the blanking panel, and cutting in a different switch. Maybe someone else here has seen one of those in latching vs momentary in a panel and can point you in the right direction.

Continued to look. This one is for a power jack to turn the light on an off https://www.amazon.com/Lippert-Compo...77719JBM&psc=1

Jlawles2 thanks for the response and references.

        The model is a 2021 Reflection 28BH.

The analogous part I am trying to match is https://www.granddesignrv.com/owner-...s/detail/11792 but as a single throw on off type (pref no printing)

Jkwilson thanks for the reply. Yeah, I looked that the body of the current switches and the manufacturer is American Technology Components. No obvious part numbers visible, but I will go back and look again. A check of American Technology Components website was not overly helpful. They do not appear to much have switches online that remotely resemble the A-side snap in switches that I have.

Try these folks - they have about every type of switch you could want. Good customer service too. It's where I have gotten the switches for my various projects from.

The GD PN looks like might be like one JR Products also makes, PN 12395 https://jrproducts.net/product/12395/, which has good sized cutout hole, 1.85″ x 1.20″

Camperjake If you can get some measurements on the opening it might be possible to find one that matches. Typically from my experience, the MFG websites for RV supply companies leave a lot to be desired.

In the meantime, you may want to read the new member introduction https://gdrvowners.com/forum/main-fo...to-new-members it will help you get a signature setup where you can put model number of the unit in along with adding your VIN to your profile should GD need information to help you.
