  • Converter air circulation.

Hi, just got 2022 imagine 2600 RB. The converter is behind a cabinet door below radio near floor.. Seems to be no vent. Where is it getting air circulation?

A couple does a complete walk-through of a 2600RB on Youtube. The husband mentions at the 17:08 mark that the converter has a fan and it's "quite normal" if you hear it running.

To your specific question--our trailers are not as air-tight as might be expected, so there shouldn't be an issue.

I would guess that the door is leaky enough to get air circulation.

Assuming that you have the same WFCO power center with the built-in converter, they are designed for 'zero clearance' on the back and the sides, since all the venting is through the front. https://wfcoelectronics.com/zero-cle...ne-and-the-rv/.

I wouldn't worry too much though if the center is behind a cabinet door for visual appeal, as that door is not air tight. I know ours doesn't produce significant air flow, so the door shouldn't starve the system for air. If you do find the fan on the converter running a lot, or if the cabinet area is warm, then perhaps try popping the door off, see if it makes a difference.
