The pressure gage will only tell you there is a leak. Not where the leak is. Tissue paper or paper towel will definitely record a leak, regardless of how fast or slow the leak is.

If you can do the back pressure rise that will tell you if it's the pump bleeding off. If you cannot find a leak anywhere else, then that would be the route I'd consider.

I will say check and double check the hoses under the sink. Our other 5er was doing a similar thing along with HWH pressure rise and I found a leak under the kitchen sink after it finally stayed on long enough to puddle on the floor and swell the floor of the cabinet.

Don't forget to check any connection, the first camper we had liked to leak at the toilet connection.
